Working 10 hours a day makes art production difficult, but not impossible. Fear not, though, there are no delays going ahead. I just felt like point out that 10 hour work days are a serious pain.

Despite that little rant, this week was a good week. My sister sent me a clip of the MacGyver theme on my cell phone, and I instantly plugged it in to be my ring tone. The audio isn’t high quality, but I blame the cell phone for that. It’s an old model, and probably can only have output of 64 kbps max. I’m not complaining. After all, I already carry a Swiss army knife and roll of duct tape around with me.

Also worth mentioning, I finally received Ankoku Butoh, the new Faith and the Muse CD. It was delayed due to the snow shutting everything down in the area. It’s been at least 8 years since their last cd, and their sound is still evolving. The cd is very good in my opinion. They keep the half-poetic style that I connect with their work, and gave it an Asian spin this time around. It’s been playing in my CD player since it arrived. Not constantly, but when I turn music on, it’s there.

That’s all that’s really worth actually posting, keep checking back every Tuesday and Thursday for the continuing story!Share on Facebook
